ADULT ADHD & PARENTS OF ADHD KIDS MONTHY SUPPORT GROUP
We hold a once a month, face-to-face support group for adults with ADHD, or wondering if they have ADHD, and also parents of ADHD children.
This takes place on the first Monday of every month, except when there is a Bank Holiday when we move to the second Monday of the month.
If you have children who are going off the rails, getting into trouble, or struggling educationally and you just don’t know which way to turn, please come and see us.
Or if you are an adult who has a diagnosis which you suspect isn’t correct and you would like to find out from those who have been through exactly the same thing, whether you possibly have ADHD as well, we can help you.
There is absolutely no charge for this group and everybody is welcome. If you don’t want to come on your own then please do bring a friend or a partner. But you won’t be alone as we have new members every single month.
We have guest speakers nearly every month and these include ~
ADHD Psychiatrists
ADHD Psychologists
SEN Teachers
Occupational Therapists
Dyslexia Tutors
ADHD De-Cluttering Experts
ADHD & ASD Tutors
ADHD Members of The Police Force
ADHD Women & Hormones Specialists
Youth Offending Teams
Bucks Children’s Services
ADHD Nutritionists
ADHD Coaches
ADHD Authors
ADHD Addiction Therapists
High Profile ADHD Advocates
The evening starts from 7 pm but many people arrive later. There is no need to eat before you come if you don’t have time as we stop roundabout 8:30 pm for dinner. You can either have a glass of wine, a coffee & cake or the full three courses if you choose.
It’s an incredibly warm, welcoming, non-judgmental environment and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask for advice on diagnosis routes for children and adults both NHS and private, misdiagnosis, medication, therapy, legal situations, or concerns you have for family or friends and you won’t meet a warmer, kinder or more welcoming group of people who really care about others with ADHD.
There will always be at least one fully qualified ADHD Counsellor present.
So please do join us. There’s no need to book – you can just turn up.
Venue: The Stag Pub & Kitchen – 91 Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP10 9ES.
